Sixers sharpshooter Furkan Korkmaz reacts to NBA season resuming

Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz is excited to see the news of the NBA resuming.

Have you heard? The NBA is coming back. After suspending operations on March 11 due to the global coronavirus pandemic, the NBA’s Board of Governors came together and they approved the return to play plan by a vote of 29-1. All it needs is the NBPA’s approval on Friday to really make things official.

Philadelphia 76ers sharpshooter Furkan Korkmaz could not hold back his excitement as he took to Instagram to post a series of pictures from the 2019-20 season with the “PhilaUnite” caption. He and his teammates are set to go and chase a championship they so desperately crave in the 2020 NBA Playoffs.

Korkmaz was having a very good 2019-20 season off the bench before the league suspended its operations. If he can recapture that magic and keep the momentum going, then he is going to play a very big role in the playoff run. The Sixers officially clinched a playoff berth on Thursday with the news of the season resuming. [lawrence-related id=32578,32570,32553]
