The Philadelphia 76ers recently made an interesting roster move when they waived two-way player Dakota Mathias who played admirably when the team was shorthanded. The move was made for some roster flexibility and the team made a move on Friday afternoon to add another player.
The team will sign Rayjon Tucker to a two-way contract and he will join the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, in the G League bubble down in Orlando. Tucker played 20 games with the Utah Jazz in the 2019-20 season and he averaged 3.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game while playing in two games in the playoffs averaging 2.5 points while knocking down a shot from deep in three attempts.
The Philadelphia 76ers are planning to sign swingman Rayjon Tucker to a two-way contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Tucker is expected to join the 76ers‘ G League affiliate (Delaware Blue Coats) in the Orlando bubble.

The Blue Coats will participate in the league’s G League bubble at Disney World and it will be an opportunity for Tucker to earn his next chance at the NBA level. The Sixers will need more guard depth after waiving Mathias so Tucker can fill that role moving forward.
