While the Philadelphia 76ers were focused on their win over the Golden State Warriors, their Round 1 rookie was down in the G League with the team’s affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, in order to continue to grow as a player.
Jaden Springer, the 29th pick in the 2021 NBA draft, only had four points on 1-for-4 shooting with three assists and two steals in a 107-93 win over the Capital City Go-Go. He did play 25 minutes in the game, but he suffered an injury that will keep him out for a while.
The Sixers say that Springer suffered a concussion on Saturday and he will be out for the time being. Further updates will be provided when they are appropriate.

Springer had been productive so far for Delaware as he is averaging 15.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game for the Blue Coats in the 2021-22 season. He has shown off an impressive defensive acumen that should help him as his career continues.
