While the Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of a 6-game road trip as they look to work themselves back on the right track, they have their young players putting in developmental work at the G League level.
The Sixers selected Jaden Springer with the 28th pick in the 2021 NBA draft and the young rookie out of Tennessee is with the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. The idea is for him to continue to grow and develop his game for a chance at the NBA in the future.
After a struggle in his previous outing in a Blue Coats loss, Springer was able to bounce back in a big way on Friday. Springer dropped 22 points on 10-for-19 shooting while also pulling down nine rebounds in a 109-101 win over College Park.

It is impressive to see Springer bounce back this way. A tough night in his previous outing could have led to some more tough ones if he let it, but he was able to shake that off and continue to grow as a player. He won’t be with the Sixers any time soon, but this development in the G League should do wonders for him.
