Sixers recall Jaden Springer from Blue Coats, send 2 big men to Delaware

The Philadelphia 76ers are sending Paul Reed and Charles Bassey to the Delaware Blue Coats while calling up Jaden Springer.

The Philadelphia 76ers are still looking to get themselves moving in the right direction as they continue to work through their issues. Sitting at 15-15 and the 8 seed in the East, this is not what the team was expecting even with the Ben Simmons saga.

On the flip side, in order to help their younger guys get some time and development, they are sending their two young big men down to the Delaware Blue Coats in the G League. In the process, they will recall Jaden Springer from the Blue Coats.

They will send Paul Reed and Charles Bassey down to Delaware. Reed and Bassey are sitting behind Andre Drummond and Joel Embiid on the depth charts so they need the court time to develop.

Springer will probably not play too much with the Sixers, but having him around the veterans should do some wonders for his experience as he moves forward in the NBA.
