Sixers prospect Shake Milton drops 32 points in Blue Coats road win

Philadelphia 76ers prospect Shake Milton scores 32 points to lead the Delaware Blue Coats to a win.

The Philadelphia 76ers are always looking for the next best young prospect to add to their talented team. The Delaware Blue Coats. the team’s G League affiliate, boasts some of the young talent the team has accrued over the years and on Tuesday night, they showed off some more of that talent.

Prospect Shake Milton, who figures into the team’s backup point guard rotation, scored 32 points with three assists to lead the Blue Coats to a 139-124 road win over the Greensboro Swarm. Milton shot an efficient 10-for-16 from the floor and he knocked down six of his nine attempts from deep as he showed off all of the offensive skills that has made him one of the Sixers’ top prospects.

Rookie Marial Shayok had 16 points on 7-for-12 shooting while second-year man Zhaire Smith also had 16 points and he knocked down two from deep. Shayok and Smith have been continuing to grow and it bodes well for the Sixers moving forward. Jared Brownridge, another of their prospects, scored 27 points off the bench.
