The Philadelphia 76ers entered a matchup with the Orlando Magic riding a 4-game win streak as it looked like they were beginning to move forward and gain some momentum in what has been an up and down season thus far. The Sixers squeaked past the Magic in their first matchup so they knew this one would be similar.
In what was truly a back and forth affair, the Sixers were able to come away with a 116-106 win over the Magic. Joel Embiid had another big game as he finished with 31 points and five rebounds with four assists and he even shared the court with Andre Drummond in a critical stretch in the third quarter to get the Sixers back in it after they fell behind by 10.
Seth Curry added 20 points, 12 assists, and seven rebounds Furkan Korkmaz added 20 points, Tobias Harris had 22, eight rebounds and four assists, and Drummond added 12 and eight boards off the bench.
