Philadelphia 76ers rookie Matisse Thybulle was a full participant in practice on Tuesday and could make his return to the court on Thursday against the Boston Celtics.
Thybulle has missed the past seven games for the Sixers after suffering a right knee sprain against the Washington Wizards on Dec. 21. The organization originally announced that Thybulle would be re-evaluated in 2-4 weeks with Sunday marking two weeks since that update.
Since suffering the injury, Thybulle has been seen traveling with the team on the road and recently began putting up shots again in practice. The plan for Thybulle, according to Serena Winters of NBC Sports Philadelphia, is to practice again on Wednesday and make a decision on Thursday.
Matisse Thybulle (knee sprain/bone bruise) was a full participant in #Sixers practice today. He also scrimmaged w/ reserves & members of player development staff.
Plan for Matisse is for him to practice tomorrow & decide whether he will be available Thursday vs. Celtics.
