Sixers’ James Harden has fun with Eagles CB Darius Slay in home opener

Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden has fun with Eagles CB Darius Slay in their home opener on Monday.

With the Philadelphia 76ers off for another week or so, players are making their final preparations for the upcoming season as well as getting some relaxation in before the grind of an NBA season arrives.

Sixers star James Harden has been working hard all summer to get in better shape and get over his nagging hamstring injury. On Monday night, Harden decided to relax. He attended the home opener for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Minnesota Vikings.

Harden took in a terrific showing by the Eagles, who knocked off the Vikings, 24-7, in a dominant effort. Philadelphia cornerback Darius Slay had two interceptions. He did an amazing job defending Minnesota star receiver Justin Jefferson all night.

After one of his interceptions, Slay brought the ball to Harden and the two shared a handshake and a laugh. After the game, The Beard made sure Slay signed the ball.

The city of Philadelphia is buzzing. The Eagles are expected to be one of the best teams in the NFC and the Sixers figure to be one of the best in the Eastern Conference. On top of that, baseball’s Phillies are in the National League wild card race. Harden and the Sixers look to add to the excitement in October.
