Sixers’ James Harden ejected from Game 3 vs. Nets after flagrant-2 foul

Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden has been ejected from Game 3 with the Brooklyn Nets due to a flagrant-2 foul.

NEW YORK — The Philadelphia 76ers are on the road on Thursday in Game 3 with the Brooklyn Nets looking to take a 3-0 lead in this series. They have seen a 13-point lead slip away as the Nets have battled back to take the lead. The Sixers will have to battle back without their star point guard.

James Harden was hit with an offensive foul on Nets forward Royce O’Neale and after a review from the officials, it was ruled a flagrant two and Harden was ejected. Philadelphia will be without its star playmaker in the fourth quarter. He finished with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists.

The Sixers have been a resilient group all season. Losing Harden is tough, but it is something they can overcome. They still have the more talented and experienced team, so they will have to find a way again on the road against this pesky Nets team.
