Sixers brought in G League Ignite’s Jaden Hardy for predraft workout

The Philadelphia 76ers brought in G League Ignite’s Jaden Hardy for a predraft workout.

The Philadelphia 76ers will hold the No. 23 pick in the 2022 NBA draft on Thursday and there are a few routes they are expected to go with that pick. They will either trade it for a win-now player or they will go after some help on the wings.

At No. 23, the Sixers are likely to pick somebody who needs time to develop, which makes sense at that pick, so the trade route is likely considering their championship timeline.

However, if they do decide to make and keep the pick, there are some options out there such as young Jaden Hardy of G League Ignite. Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers brought Hardy in for a predraft workout.

Hardy averaged 17.7 points during the G League Showcase and he averaged 21.2 points in 13 games during the G League Ignite Tour. He has a scorer’s mentality and he will go after an opportunity to attack the rim every chance he gets. If he is available at 23, the Sixers will likely take a long look at him.
