Fans of the Philadelphia 76ers get treated to a great broadcast team every night with the likes of the legendary Marc Zumoff handling the play-by-play duties while Alaa Abdenaldy handles the color commentary. For the people of Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, they have been a treat to listen to.
However, not everybody seems to have the same opinion as the people over at Awful Announcing have ranked them as the 19th best broadcast team for local NBA games for 2019-20. They used fan votes from readers and they have received an overall grade of a “C” from readers.
It’s a shame that the excellent courtside reporting of Serena Winters was not included in the grade. Instead, it was just Zumoff and Abdenaldy, and even with just those two, they should have a higher ranking than 19th. Zumoff alone is one of the best in the business.
