When it comes to mock drafts, they all begin to look the same as the draft gets closer. Everybody seems to have an idea of where players will land when it comes to their draft positions and the teams they fit with.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, they have a few obvious needs and that is shooting and creators for themselves and the team. There are a few guys who fit that mold and one name that continues to pop up for them at 21 is Tyrell Terry out of Stanford.

In a mock draft performed by USA Today, they have Terry going to Philadelphia at 21:

While the exposure of the NBA combine wasn’t as intact this offseason due to the pandemic, Terry was one player who used the crucial assessment period – conducted mostly in a virtual capacity – to his advantage by bulking up. He also grew an inch. His three-point marksmanship is what will entice most teams looking to bolster their outside shooting.

As noted before, Terry shot 40.8% from deep at Stanford and he is a guy who can play both guard positions. If the Sixers have the opportunity to grab him at 24, they cannot pass that up. Philadelphia has already had a draft interview with him in the past and there’s a good chance he is high on their draft board. [lawrence-related id=38903,38897,38886]
