Recruitment

Longtime Michigan target who looked to be between the Wolverines and Notre Dame.

A speedster who runs a 4.46 40-yard dash, Henning was long a top priority of key recruiter Sherrone Moore, and finally made it to Ann Arbor for his official visit — his second visit — on June 21. He intended to draw out his recruitment and continue going through the process, but once he was in the car to head back to the Greater Chicago Area, he had it turned around and ended the process right then and there.

He made his pledge publicly official on June 26.

Readiness Level

Likely to come off the bench, but should be a key participant on the offense throughout the year starting in Week One.

Early Enrollee?

Yes
