Ever since coming to Oregon, Dan Lanning has made a point of keeping the top-ranked players in the state of Oregon close to home, playing for the Ducks. He did that once again in the 2024 recruiting class.
On Wednesday, 3-star offensive tackle Trent Ferguson officially signed his national letter of intent, joining the Ducks’ 2024 class. Ferguson is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 988 player in the 2024 class, and the No. 66 OT. He is also the No. 5 ranked player in the state of Oregon.
Standing at 6-foot-7, 300 pounds, Ferguson has a great build that makes him a high-upside prospect, though he definitely needs more development before having a major impact in Eugene.
