As the 2020 NFL Draft approaches, analysts from all across the country are taking to their keyboards to create mock drafts, rankings, big boards and more.

Two major pieces of Alabama’s offense over the last two seasons, Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs, have declared for the draft and will be participating in the NFL Combine.

Jeudy and Ruggs are both projected to be selected in the first round.

Sports Illustrated’s Kevin Hanson released his wide receiver rankings for receivers in the draft.

Here’s where Hanson ranked the two former Alabama stars:

Hanson lists Ruggs in the top-three wide receivers for the draft, which should not come as a surprise to most considering he, along with Jeudy and Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb, are the only wide receivers who consistently show up in first-round mock drafts.

“With rare acceleration and run-after-catch ability, Ruggs is a threat to take any slant to the house,” says Hanson.

Ruggs’ speed is what garners Hanson’s attention, and what he believes will ultimately be the reason he’s given a spot on an NFL roster.

1. Jerry Jeudy

Jeudy entered the 2019 college football season as a potential top-five pick in this draft. Now, sitting just a few months away from it, he is floating around the middle of the first-round and his positioning goes back and forth with Lamb.

Hanson admits the No. 1 wide receiver spots is between the Alabama and Oklahoma products, but Jeudy has the edge.

“Jeudy is a high-floor receiver that should emerge as his future team’s No. 1 receiver early in his career,” Hanson argues.

The Sports Illustrated analyst claims Jeudy has the potential to be an immediate impact as a top wide receiver for a team.
