Should the San Antonio Spurs consider drafting Clemson forward PJ Hall?

A solid gamble on a potential third or even second center, we’d be fine rolling the dice here.

Should the San Antonio Spurs consider drafting Clemson forward PJ Hall? Bleacher Report NBA draft expert Jonathan Wasserman has just put out another new 2024 mock draft, and sees the Spurs taking the 6-foot-10, 238-lb. big man with their late second rounder in that draft, current projected at No. 46 overall.

A combo big able to play the 4 or the 5 and sometimes compared to Cleveland Cavaliers forward Dean Wade, he has “showed his ability to get shots off in the post by sealing defenders, spinning off them or fading away” in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, according to the B/R draft analyst.

“He showed confidence in his shooting range, even if the 3s weren’t falling,” adds Wasserman.

Not especially great at putting the rock on the floor and moving with it, he also needs to work on his perimeter shot if he wants a better shot at sticking in the NBA, “his 31.5 3-point percentage reflects some unreliability.”

A solid gamble on a potential third or even second center, we’d be fine rolling the dice on Hall.
