Should the Eagles have interest in LB Bobby Wagner after being released by Seahawks?

Should the #Philadelphia #Eagles have interest in LB Bobby #Wagner after being released by the #Seattle #Seahawks? #NFL #NFLFreeAgency

Bobby Wagner, the All-Pro linebacker, was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday after a dominating 10-year run.

The question certainly can be asked how Wagner could fit in Philadelphia to help bolster depth at the linebacker position.   What the Eagles will do at the linebacker position remains to be addressed, but the team could look to bolster the roster with a more dynamic player at the position.

An eight-time All-Pro and Pro Bowl selection, Wagner is still an elite player, logging 170 total tackles, a sack, a forced fumble, and an interception.

If the Eagles were able to land Wagner, they’d have the All-Pro and T.J. Edwards at the position, along with three first-round picks in the upcoming NFL draft that’ll help bolster the pass rush and secondary.

Philadelphia struggles mightily against the pass and Wagner would immediately solve that issue against opposing tight ends and running backs.

The former 2012 draft pick, who is now a free agent, will cost Philadelphia some cash if they want to bank on Seattle’s all-time tackles leader.
