In past campaigns, veteran floor general Ish Smith has given the Boston Celtics fits. Should the Celtics consider signing Smith to one of their open roster spots to shore up their backcourt depth?

With career averages of 7.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game over the course of his 13-year career (to say nothing of having “Larry” as a middle name), the Celtics could certainly do worse. But there are other interesting unsigned free agents to consider as well.

TJ Warren, Bismack Biyombo, James Johnson and others could still be had for one of Boston’s two open regular roster slots. They found themselves the topic of conversation for a recent episode of the “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast.

To hear what the hosts had to say about Smith and Co. as potential Celtics signing targets, check out the clip embedded below.
