Reserve Boston Celtics floor general Payton Pritchard has been struggling with his shooting since getting the bag this offseason. Pritchard’s poor performance is almost certainly just a slump and he will likely bounce back soon. The Celtics have invested in Pritchard and are counting on him to contribute in the regular season ahead.

The Oregon alum should try to play with more freedom and be more aggressive in looking for his shot with the second unit. He has shown the ability to score and make plays, particularly when playing against bench units. The West Linn native needs to adjust to his spot in the Celtics’ rotation and find his comfort zone on the court providing the shooting that got him his contract extension.
