Sheldon Rankins takes fumble recovery for TD vs. Titans

The Texans took a 17-point lead early in the second quarter thanks to the Houston defense.

The Houston Texans are rolling early in their Week 17 match with the Tennessee Titans.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud led the team on two scoring drives to take a 10-0 lead and the defense came up huge to push the lead to 17-0 early in the second quarter. Defensive end Jerry Hughes sacked and forced a Will Levis fumble that defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins scooped up for a 13-yard touchdown.

The Texans need this win to keep their playoff hopes alive. A victory in Week 17 could set up a win-and-in postseason scenario for Houston against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 18.
