Shedeur Sanders revealed what Tom Brady texted him following Colorado’s win against TCU

Not a bad mentor to have.

The Colorado Buffaloes went into Saturday’s game against TCU as easily the most intriguing team in college football. Deion Sanders took over a program that went 1-11 in 2022 and completely overhauled the roster through the transfer portal.

One of those major changes was the addition of his son, Shedeur Sanders, at quarterback. And it was safe to say that Shedeur passed his first test as a Power 5 quarterback. He even had Tom Brady sending him some postgame advice.

After Shedeur broke Colorado records with 510 yards and four touchdowns in his debut, he returned to his locker to see a text from Brady. He spent some time in the offseason working with the future Hall of Fame quarterback.

Brady’s message was simple.

“Don’t be satisfied.”

There aren’t many quarterbacks out there in college football that are receiving texts from Tom Brady, so that had to be a thrill for Sanders.

We’re just a week into the season, but the Buffs hype is real. And they’ll look to follow up on the TCU win with Saturday’s game against Nebraska.
