Shams: Zach LaVine dealing with small ligament tear in non-shooting hand

The All-Star guard plans to play through the injury.

Chicago Bulls All-Star guard Zach LaVine has a small ligament tear in the thumb of his non-shooting hand, per Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Charania reported that despite the injury, LaVine plans to play through the ligament tear.

The Bulls are off to their first 4-0 start since Michael Jordan was in a Bulls uniform, which speaks to why LaVine wants to continue playing through the injury.

Through four games, LaVine is averaging 25.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.8 assists while shooting 50% from the field and 44.4% from 3-point range.
