LiAngelo Ball will likely soon find himself on a new team.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Ball is signing a contract in the NBA G League.
Ball will be eligible to be selected in the Oct. 23 G League draft, where he could ultimately reunite with the Hornets organization and land with the Greensboro Swarm.

In five games with the Hornets during summer league, LiAngelo averaged 9.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game while shooting 34.5% from 3-point range.
At Media Day, head coach James Borrego said that LiAngelo ‘performed at a higher level’ than expected during Summer League.
