Seth Curry discusses how Sixers can play well on upcoming road trip

Seth Curry discusses how the Philadelphia 76ers can get going again on their upcoming road trip.

The Philadelphia 76ers will head back out on the road on Wednesday when they begin a 4-game road trip against the rival Boston Celtics. The Sixers, who just got home from a long 6-game road trip, are a little road weary, but it is just the way the schedule is playing out at the moment.

After a less than inspiring close win over the Orlando Magic on Monday, the Sixers are looking to build momentum again. Philadelphia is sitting at just 11-10 now at this point of the season and they are not looking good.

Granted, that is due to a variety of factors. One has to consider that they were 8-2 before the team was wrecked by COVID and injuries and they now must find that groove again on this 4-game trip. After the matchup with Boston, they will take on the Atlanta Hawks and then two games with the Charlotte Hornets before returning home on Dec. 9.

“Watch the film and figure some stuff out at practice and try to apply that to the game,” said Seth Curry. “Offensively, we gotta figure out how to get back into ball movement, get back to getting into the lane, finding good shots, and not being too stagnant. So just watch the film, figure it out and try to go on the road and get some good wins.”

Curry was able to have a big game on Monday when he scored 24 points and the rest of the Sixers just have to figure out how to get back on the same page again. This trip, starting with the Celtics, should do wonders for him.

“Guys are still finding their way back,” said Andre Drummond. “Most of our team is back now so you have some guys who are probably tired and trying to find a rhythm throughout the game. They were playing a zone too, which we haven’t seen much of this year too so hats off to them for throwing us off with that zone but we figured it out and came out a way to win.”
