Sergio Garcia did something on Friday that we rarely see in golf and man was it awesome – he hit a walk-off hole-in-one to beat a stunned Lee Westwood in their playoff at the WGC Match Play Championship and advance to the round of 16 in Austin, Texas.
Garcia and Westwood were in a playoff after they finished tied in their group. Garcia drilled an 8-foot par putt on the previous hole just to stay alive in the match and then he did the unthinkable on the 160-yard, par-3 fourth hole.
Garcia’s tee shot landed just past the pin and then rolled back and ended up in the bottom of the cup.

Sergio Garcia! Goosebumps when that dropped in for the ace! Westwood’s laugh from the tee says it all, that’s a hell of a way to go through!
