Four-star linebacker Semaj Bridgeman announced his top six this week, putting Rutgers football in quite the battle to land one of the nation’s top players.
Bridgeman, is a class of 2023 athlete at Imhotep Institute (Philadelphia, PA) is the No. 11 linebacker in the nation and the seventh-best overall prospect in Pennsylvania according to Rivals.
The battle to land Bridgeman won’t be easy, especially with a recent offer from Alabama coming in for the talented linebacker.
His top six included Oregon, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Rutgers and South Carolina.
Big Ten program Penn State made Bridgeman’s top eight but missed out on his top six.

A couple of prominent programs such as LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and Tennessee have offered Bridgeman but didn’t make his final eight and have not re-entered his recruitment at this point.

It is unclear what programs will be receiving an official visit from Bridgeman this summer or fall.

This past season, Bridgeman was selected First Team All-Catholic in his league down in Philadelphia. He is capable of playing either middle linebacker or outside linebacker.
