When wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was with the New York Giants, it seemed like we would highlight his rare and elite athleticism every other day.
When Beckham was traded to the Cleveland Browns, those type of articles faded but did not disappear entirely. That’s because Giants running back Saquon Barkley is very much on the same athletic level as Beckham, but he just doesn’t show it off quite as much.
However, Barkley still provides us with plenty of “wow” moments off the field, which he did again on Saturday.
During a relaxed moment amid his intense offseason workouts, Barkley decided to see if he could hit the goal post crossbar. From 25 yards out. On one knee.
Unsurprisingly, he did.

That sort of throw would be impressive for Tom Brady let alone a running back. It showcases not only impressive arm strength and core strength, but an unusually accurate arm for a guy who isn’t paid to throw the ball.
You have to wonder if head coach Joe Judge is watches this video and considers using a few more halfback options in 2020.
