See it: Giants draft pick Shane Lemieux working at center

Although Shane Lemieux is listed as a guard and has never played center, the New York Giant is already working on a new craft.

The New York Giants may have found their next center when they took Shane Lemieux in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

When the Giants selected Lemeiux, he had been listed as a guard, which is where he played at for the University of Oregon. However, it looks like Lemieux has also been preparing to potentially player center at the NFL level.

Currently, the Giants have Spencer Pulley and potentially Nick Gates at center, but Lemieux could challenge them for the starting center job moving forward.

The Giants may also go back to the well later this summer with Jon Halapio, who is currently a free agent and recovering from a torn Achilles tendon.
