Ever wonder what it’s like to walk a mile in the shoes of an NFL player? For some, it’s exciting but for others it’s hard work with a little downtime to spare.
In this time of restrictions due to the coronavirus, there’s not a whole lot for any of us to do, so players are just biding their time until training camp, which is scheduled to open in about ten days.
New York Giants second-year wide receiver Darius Slayton took fans through his daily routine in a recent video.

Not quite the life of one of the league’s elite players, we know. Slayton, a fifth-round draft pick out of Auburn last year, was signed to the standard four-year rookie deal, which was worth a total of $2,753,988 with $233,988 of it guaranteed. He is scheduled to earn $675K this year as a second-year player.
Slayton led the Giants with eight touchdown catches last season and is currently the team’s third wide receiver behind Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard.
