Buffalo Bills wide receiver Cole Beasley has a leg injury which was called a “week-to-week” issue by head coach Sean McDermott. The coach announced the update on Tuesday via his weekly video conference.
Beasley, 31, only had three catches for 17 yards against the New England Patriots in Week 16’s Monday Night Football game. The Bills won the contest 38-9.
Beasley has career-highs all across the board for Buffalo this season, including his 82 catches and 967 receiving yards. Beasley never surpassed 1,000-yards passing in his career, and it appears he’s not going to do so. Week to week means Beasley will sit out against the Miami Dolphins in Buffalo’s season finale next Sunday. It remains to be seen if he’s ready to go by the postseason.
Beasley landed awkwardly on his leg when his foot appeared to be stuck in the turf late in the fourth quarter against the Patriots. He was spotted with the team’s training staff on the sideline just before the end of the game and they appeared to be looking at the outside of his knee.
