Starters coming your way:

Get ready for Josh Allen & Co. They’re coming to a preseason game near you soon.

On Saturday, the Bills visit the Chicago Bears to round out their 2023 preseason campaign. When the game begins, there will be first-stringers involved.

Head coach Sean McDermott announced on Thursday that the Bills will play their starters in the contest.

McDermott did not specify exactly how long they would feature.

“It’s just what I feel is best for the team right now,” McDermott said. “Every preseason is a little bit different.”

After the first teamers were not on the field in the preseason opener, that bunch did play against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 2.

It did not go according to plan. The Steelers dominated the contest on every front against Buffalo’s starters.

McDermott did not say whether or not the game in Pittsburgh influenced his decision. The coach only stated that each year the circumstances surrounding the exhibition season differ every summer.
