Ten years ago, the Seattle Seahawks made franchise history when they won their first ever Super Bowl. On Sunday, they will be making history again… albeit of a different variety.
On Thursday afternoon, the Seahawks announced their uniform combo for Sunday’s game, and it’s a franchise first: white jersey and blue pants, in honor of the uniforms the 2013 team wore as they won Super Bowl XLVIII over the Denver Broncos.
A nod to the Super Bowl XLVIII champions. For the first time we'll be rocking white on navy for this week's game.

Not only is this the first time the Seahawks will be wearing this combination at home, it’s the first time ever for Seattle to wear a white jersey at home, regardless of the current style. Interestingly enough, the Seahawks were actually the last team in the NFL to have never donned their white threads at home. When Sunday rolls around, all 32 teams will have done it.
Many consider this to be one of the stronger – if not strongest – uniform combinations Seattle has to offer. The Seahawks wore them last week, and enjoy a very respectable 25-19 record. Behind only the regular all-blue home uniforms, 25 wins is the second most wins of any Seattle uniform combo.
