The Seattle Seahawks have been enjoying a theme of “two’s” in the 2022 NFL Draft. Seattle has selected a pair of tackles, two pass rushers, a duo of cornerbacks, and now they have ended the draft with two wide receivers.
The Seahawks are very top-heavy at the position with the likes of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as the top options. But in the NFL, there is no such thing as too much depth and this team is no exception.
Lockett has spent the weekend vocally welcoming every new rookie to the team, and the receivers to close the weekend are among them.

It is the dawn of a new era in Seattle without Russell Wilson. The Seahawks no longer have a quarterback capable of single-handily carrying the offense by himself, regardless of who the supporting cast is. Loading up the skill positions for Geno Smith or Drew Lock to work with is more than prudent.
Also, without Wilson, the Seahawks no longer have a true face of the franchise. The 12th Man will certainly be pleased to see one of the best, and most beloved, players on the team taking a more vocal approach to being a leader.
