John Ursua fans can breathe a sigh of relief now that the wide receiver has been added back to the Seattle Seahawks as a member of the practice squad.
Ursua had been waived from the 53-man roster on Tuesday to make room for the promotion of wide receiver, Penny Hart. Ursua now takes his spot on the practice squad after passing through waivers unclaimed.
The Seahawks selected Ursua in the seventh round of last year’s NFL draft. The rookie appeared in three games last season and logged one reception for 11 yards.
Seattle signed defensive tackle Anthony Rush to the practice squad on Wednesday as well.
