I believe it is safe to say Seattle Seahawks safety Julian Love is having one of the best weeks of his life. On Monday night, he snagged two crucial interceptions in Seattle’s upset 20-17 win over the Philadelphia Eagles – including the one to seal the win. Later, he welcomed the birth of his son into this world.
Love did not travel with the team to Nashville ahead of the Seahawks’ upcoming game against the Tennessee Titans. But since his son has arrived, he will be traveling to the Music City to meet up with his team before a critical Week 16 matchup.

The Seahawks will be facing an incredibly injured Titans team, but one that is more than capable of ruining a season for someone. Seattle will need Love in the lineup more than ever to help avoid such an unfortunate outcome.
Speaking of other safety news, Jamal Adams has been ruled OUT for Sunday. Not only will Adams not be playing, he also did not make the trip to the Volunteer State.

Given Adams’ persisting injury concerns, his diminished play on the field, his increasing distractions off it, and his salary, it is entirely possible we’ve seen the last of him in a Seahawks jersey.
