Seahawks lose WR Josh Gordon to PED, substance abuse suspension

The Seahawks will face the Cardinals without the troubled and talented wideout.

The Arizona Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks this weekend on the road in Week 16. There is one player they won’t have to defend.

Receiver Josh Gordon, troubled his entire career with problems with substance abuse, has been suspended again.

This time, it is for multiple infractions. He has been suspended for violations under the policy for performance-enhancing substances and also for the policy for substances of abuse.

It is the fifth time in his career he has been suspended.

Gordan had not been a big part of their offense this season. In six games, he has had only seven catches. They have been big ones, as he has 139 yards on those seven receptions.
