According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, free agent offensive tackle Trent Brown is re-signing with the Patriots on a two-year deal.
The Seahawks spent the weekend wooing Brown in Seattle, trying to convince him to sign. Brown could have filled either of their two biggest holes along their offensive line now that both LT Duane Brown and RT Brandon Shell are free agents.
Another top FA option is also off the board. Yesterday, former Cowboys right tackle La’el Collins agreed to a deal with the Bengals.
Now, the best remaining tackle on the market is Terron Armstead, who’s visiting with the Dolphins.
