Schultz TD gives Cowboys lead after Lamb’s big catch

Dallas QB Andy Dalton connected with two of his top targets to put the Cowboys back in front of the 49ers by a 24-17 score.

With the score knotted 17-17, the Cowboys’ recent history suggested that things didn’t look good as they embarked on a third-quarter possession starting from their own 27-yard-line.

As stated by CBS booth crew Kevin Harlan and Trent Green, Dallas had gone eight games without a third-quarter touchdown. Andy Dalton, CeeDee Lamb, and Dalton Schultz teamed up to wipe out that stat.

Dalton’s third-down scramble bought him enough time to find rookie wide receiver CeeDee Lamb streaking toward the sideline. The play netted forty-plus yards and bought Dallas a new set of downs.

Moments later, Dalton connected with tight end Dalton Schultz on a 12-yard touchdown pass.

After the successful PAT try, the Cowboys are back in front, 24-17.
