Sharks at Red Wings odds, lines, picks and predictions
Prediction
Red Wings 4, Sharks 3
Money line
The RED WINGS (-117) are a decent play against the Sharks, a team that has suddenly forgotten how to play defensively.
Detroit is a respectable 7-3 in its last 10 games at home, and the home team has won six of the last eight meetings in this series. Back Detroit.
Against the spread
The Sharks +1.5 (-300) are just too expensive if you’re not feeling them straight up, but believe they’ll keep it close. They’re just not worth three times your potential return, especially on the road.
AVOID.
Over/Under
OVER 5.5 (-130) is the best play in this game, even though the Under is 3-1-1 in the last five meetings in this series.
The Over is 6-3 across the last nine games for San Jose, including 2-0 in the last two on the road. The Sharks have seen a total of 13 goals Jan. 2 in Pittsburgh and a total of 10 goals Dec. 5 in Columbus.
The Over is 8-2 across the last 10 games for the Red Wings, too.
