The Rams beat the Panthers in their last game before the Week 7 bye, improving their record to 3-3 after losing 2 straight games. They’re a half-game behind the Seahawks for the lead in the division, but it hasn’t been thanks to the offense, which ranks 29th in points per game this season. They’ll try to snap their 7-game regular-season losing streak to the 49ers this weekend.

The 49ers have the Rams’ number, playing a more physical style of football every time these teams meet. It has resulted in a 7-game winning streak over the Rams in the regular season, and it’s no fluke.
I like the 49ERS (-115) to win again on Sunday, despite being on the road without Samuel. Their fans travel well each time they face the Rams at SoFi Stadium, so Los Angeles’ home-field advantage won’t be as strong as usual.
The 49ers’ defensive front is just too good compared to the Rams’ shorthanded offensive line.
Against the spread
The 49ers are a perfect 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games against the Rams, so taking them to cover the spread isn’t a bad idea. But if you’re already betting the money line at -115, taking the 0.5-point spread at -115 isn’t very worthwhile.
