After two weeks of games for the Texas Longhorns, we examine how Sam Ehlinger has looked throwing the ball. What are his tendencies?

Throwing to his right

Much like throwing to his left, Ehlinger’s number to the right are such a small sample size through two games. However, it seems to be the same issue with the deep ball. While it is only two passes on deep outside throws, he has shown a history of that and he needs to get better on those opportunities. You don’t have to say anything to Sam about that, he is an intense competitor. He expects more out of himself.

The lone interception that Sam has thrown this season comes from the right side. He was under pressure and tried to make a play on the run. Nine times out of 10, Ehlinger makes that throw but on this occasion we saw the downfall to pressing to make a play. With the full compliment of weapons at his disposal, we likely see a better Ehlinger out there. That is saying something considering the start to the season he is having.
