Ehlinger has thrown to the left more times than he has attempted to throw to his right. Some quarterbacks have a natural tendency to throw better to the left than having to adjust and throw to the right. While the numbers are limited it shows that he is good in the short and intermediate levels of throwing. Which is something that has been in his scouting report.

The captain of the team needs work on his deep ball. Throwing to his left, he has completed just one pass. It came against Texas Tech when Ehlinger found Joshua Moore and was able to fit the ball into a tight window, just before the safety could get into position to make a play on the ball. It resulted in a touchdown.
