Prediction

Clippers 121, Kings 108

Moneyline (ML)

Despite not having two key starters in Patrick Beverley and Paul George, the Clippers (-455) are still massive home favorites over the Kings. The Clippers have been fantastic at home this season, winning 22 of 27 games. They’ve won seven of their last eight contests at the Staples Center and the Kings have lost 10 of their last 11 games against Los Angeles. But despite those trends, there isn’t enough value here on the moneyline to take the Clippers, so PASS on this bet in favor of the point spread.

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)

The CLIPPERS (-9.5) are nearly double-digit favorites over the Kings for this early Saturday afternoon contest. Sacramento has struggled mightily against the Clippers, as of late, failing to cover in eight of their last nine games when facing L.A. Given the talent differential here and the depth of the Clippers, expect them to cover at home and to win by double-digits over the Kings.

Over/Under (O/U)

The point total for this Western Conference matchup is set at 231.5 points, which feels a little bit too high for this contest. While the Clippers’ defense has been streaky this season, the Kings’ offense has been even more inconsistent. They are averaging only 108 points per contest this season, which ranks 23rd in the NBA. Expect the Clippers to score into the 120s, but for the UNDER to still hit in Los Angeles.
