Prediction
Mavericks 125, Kings 104
Moneyline (ML)
The Mavericks (-358) are the superior team this season but are a curious 14-14 at home. The Kings (+280), though, are 10-17 on the road and 2-4 in their last six away from home. They are coming off a 123-111 road loss to the Milwaukee Bucks Monday, while the Mavs are coming off a four-point home loss to the Utah Jazz. Dallas has been great this season after a loss, going 16-5 straight up in the following game. The Mavs are 14-12 at home as a favorite.
Sacramento is 12-19 after a loss and 7-14 on the road as the underdog. This decision should be easy, especially with the All-Star break coming after the game. The Kings, if they fall behind at all, will very possibly be looking ahead to the break and time off, allowing this game to get away from them. Even without much value, take the MAVERICKS (-358).

Line/Against the Spread (ATS)
The MAVERICKS (-8.5, -106) will need to win by at least 9 points to cover the spread Wednesday. They have failed to cover in three of their last four games and are 10-15-1 ATS as a home favorite. After a loss, they improve to 15-5-1 ATS, so expect a bounceback performance, especially if Doncic is back in the lineup.
The Kings (+8.5, -115) covered the spread in three of their last four games, but here is the big number — they have not covered the spread in a straight-up loss since Dec. 29. If they lose the game, they simply do not cover the spread.
Over/Under (O/U)
The total is set at 224.5 points. Dallas has played to the Over in five straight contests and seven of eight. The Mavs are 34-20 O/U in all games and 17-11 O/U at home. They are also 14-7 O/U after a loss.
With offensive firepower, the only question is whether Sacramento holds up its end of the deal. I think they do.
Take the OVER 224.5 (-115).
