The Miami Dolphins are set to play in their eighth game under head coach Mike McDaniel, as they’re traveling to take on the Detroit Lions at Ford Field on Sunday afternoon.
For the contest, the Dolphins have listed five players as inactive, including safety Eric Rowe.
Joining Rowe on this list are running back Myles Gaskin, wide receiver Erik Ezukanma, quarterback Skylar Thompson and wide receiver River Cracraft.
The safety’s absence is an interesting decision, considering he wasn’t on the injury report this week, and Miami lost Brandon Jones to a torn ACL last week. This may mean that the Dolphins feel more comfortable with undrafted rookie Verone McKinley III and Clayton Fejedelem getting opportunities.
