Last season, following an 8-6 season, Rutgers was No. 17 in the nation in the coaches poll.

Rutgers finished 2023  ranked No. 15 in the nation and the No. 6 seed in the Big Ten Tournament. While playing in the Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals, the Scarlet Knights lost to No. 7 Maryland 14-11, ending Rutgers’ season.

Heading into the 2024 season, the Scarlet Knights will face a 13-game slate while facing nine teams that finished in the top 30 of the NCAA RPI last season. Also, the Rutgers will face six teams that made the NCAA Tournament last season.

The Scarlet Knights have advanced to the NCAA Tournament in two of the past three seasons, including making the 2022 Final Four. Last season, Rutgers recorded wins over four NCAA Tournament teams and three teams ranked top-15 in the country.

On February 3, Rutgers will open up their 2024 schedule against Lehigh at SHI Stadium as they host the Mountain Hawks in their season opener.
