Bo Melton is clearly trending in the latest mock drafts. This time, it is the former Rutgers football standout going on Day 2.
Mel Kiper, the noted ESPN guru of all things NFL draft, has Melton going in the third round to the Dallas Cowboys at No. 88.
It is the earliest that Kiper has ever mocked Melton going in the draft. The mock pick for Melton is also the highest of any of the promiment NFL draft analysts.
There is plenty of reason to believe that Melton can and will selected at the midpoint of the draft. He is coming off a relatively solid two seasons at Rutgers where he was the leading wide receiver for an offense that struggled at times to move the ball.

This offseason, Melton certainly backed up his solid production with the Scarlet Knights with some pretty significant performances. At the Senior Bowl, he earned rave reviews for the week of practice and then had two catches for 18 yards along with three returns for 25 yards.
At the NFL Combine, he ran an impressive 4.34 time in the 40, certainly raising eyebrows with the impressive time.
He recently participated in the local days for the New York Giants, New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles.
