K.J. Duff has been a Power Five football recruit for well over the past year. On Monday night, Duff released a top seven that includes Rutgers football alongside several high-profile programs.
He is a 6-foot-5, 200-pound wide receiver for St. Anthony’s (Melville, N.Y.). Last season in nine games, Duff had 35 catches for 682 receiving yards with five touchdowns.
Rutgers is part of a recruiting battle that includes Central Florida, North Carolina, Texas, Miami, Texas A&M and Syracuse. For Duff, Rutgers was his first offer in January of 2022.
According to On3, Duff is a four-star recruit and the third-best player in New York in the 2024 recruiting class.
He posted his cutdown to seven teams on social media on Monday night:

Rutgers is currently recruiting Duff as a wide receiver.
The class of 2024 for Rutgers currently stands at eight commits, six of which are on the offensive side of the ball. Their most recent commit was a wide receiver, Isaiah Crumpler.
A four-star recruit according to On3, Crumpler is one of the top recruits this year from North Carolina.
