Philadelphia quarterback Semaj Beals was offered by Rutgers football on Friday following an unofficial visit to campus. A class of 2026 recruit, Beals is shaping up to be a bigtime recruit with a number of Power Five offers already in his recruitment.
Beals, coming off a strong season for Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), already holds offers from Alabama, Boston College, Duke, Maryland, Penn State, Syracuse, Temple, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound quarterback who throws a nice, accurate ball and has a pocket presence that is impressive.
Reading defenses well, he has a very quick release and has good ball placement.
Beal tweeted about the offer on Friday. He was on campus for a recruiting event hosted by Rutgers that featured a number of the top recruits in the area.
